Kayaking lessons can be a way to get started with paddling more quickly or to progress further. Courses at basically all levels. Everything from a simple introductory course in a few hours, test paddling, beginner courses, buy-kayak courses, continuation courses, kayak courses in paddling technique, courses in roll and Eskimo turn, courses in various rescue techniques, wave paddling courses, rapids paddling courses, SUP courses, carry-kayak courses, etc. Kayaking and paddling courses are held by both kayaking clubs, associations, companies, outdoor promotion, etc.

For some, an introductory course is enough to get started with lifelong paddling, while for others, a kayak course is what becomes paddling.
Some want to learn to paddle fast straight ahead, others as twisty and winding as possible, others want to learn to swim and climb on the kayak, while others don't want to get wet at all, some want to get certified, others don't. There are probably as many requests for kayaking courses as there are paddlers, and it is probably possible to find most varieties of kayaking courses if you just look around a bit. Courses are given by lots of established players and those who are really good and flexible can tailor a kayak course to your exact needs and wishes.
