Boat fair, Gothenburg , February 3-11. Usually not so much kayak related but sometimes so. Otherwise you have to spy on the enemy or those who end up at the top 🙂
The boat fair, All for the lake , Stockholm, March 7-10 & 14-17. Usually not so much kayaking, outdoor activities and paddling but sometimes a little.
Paddling Film festival Scandinavia , March 16, Grebbestad. Activities and lectures Friday-Sunday.
Kayak demo in Askersund , May 18. Try it, Friluftsloppis and more at Vättern's northern tip.
Fair enough , April 26-28, Uthuset's spring fair. The outhouse outside Skärstad is always fun to visit. Extra fun when there is a fair.
The new carpet meeting . May 9-12. Great meeting in the Hällaryd archipelago, Blekinge. Good and relaxed without a full schedule. 2024 is also the 20th anniversary.
Canadian symposium in Dalarna, 7-9 June . Once again, Sjövik folk high school, Friluftsfrämjandet, the Swedish Canoe Association and scouts invite you to the annual Canadian Symposium
Läckö kayak meeting , June 28-30. Full schedule in a very nice place. Haven't visited Läckö kayak meeting, but those who have are very satisfied.
The election event , June 28-30. When June meets July at Valö. Fantastic nice place and a cozy meeting without a program.
Stock encounter August 15-18. Largest & oldest and with fine paddling waters.
Sørlandet Padletreff , 30 August – 1 September. Near Kristiansand.
Air Kayak Day . August 18. (Swedish Air Kayak Day).
Outdoor party , High Coast, 30 August-1 September. Before this Outdoor Party. Very nice event.
The Rävholm meeting . First weekend in September. Nice place and a good meeting. A bit exposed to the weather, so it's not usually full if there's a gale.
Outdoor party , 6-8 September, Järvsö. Utemagasinet continues with Utefest.
Sea kayak day , October 27th. Paddle around islands in Stockholm Founded by Jim Danielsson. Looks cozy and fun to paddle in town sometimes. In recent years, Sea Kayak Day has started to spread around the country, it would be great if there could be more people who get involved.
Tar Island Festival . 30/8-1/9. First weekend in September. Nice place and a good arrangement. We haven't been to Tjäröfestivalen since the new organizers but it seems very good.
RollSM, 30/8-1/9. The National Championships in Greenland Roll 2024. Organized by Rolltokarna together with GKF at GKF in Gothenburg .
Elmia mobile home & caravan , beginning of September. You want to live on the way to/from/between the other meetings 🙂

Hey hey, hope you still want to come to Stocken even though we were "forced" to move it to earlier than before. The reason is that a weekend later (which would have been optimal) clashes with the Open Yard in Orust and there won't be enough space at the campsite. The last weekend in August will clash with both the Sörlandet meeting, the Rävholment meeting and probably also the Tjärö festival. We think it's a bit unnecessary 🙂
