Packing in frosted grass
I and Pia came together with Ulf from Malmö and Lund Robbo from the boat ramp at 11-thicket on Christmas morning, sunshine, blue skies and 2-3 degrees below zero. It felt like a good start to a jultur to wind up the holiday season.

We paddled on flat water, gliding along with Tjärös east side, through the narrow channel between Skiftesö / Skiftesholmen and on to Allböle, just west of Allböle set some local kayak nerds: Marten and Linda with friends and having coffee, we joined and sat in the sun had a nice day for a while.

We went then on the west of Bockö and then up against Tärnö, around Tärnö on the east side and into the beach on the south side
where we went ashore and made camp in the waning evening light.

Took a short walk to the village before we banged us for cooking and a small fire, starry night and a small moon helped illuminate.

Easter morning offered a uniform gray sky, a couple degrees above freezing and the wind from the West that made it a little raw.
After breakfast we took a walk around the island to visit the lighthouse, at the defense hole in the mountain views and a walk around the west end.

Launched and paddled around the same road we came, a little bumpy the first bit before we got in the lee of the island, a little fun right on the tip since we were in the shelter and took us to the east of Haro, and Brorsö. landed to camp search and refreshments / lunch at Bockös east side before we went further away towards Allböle, past Dragsö, inside Tjärö and back to the boat ramp.

A lovely trip that was really needed; tent abstinence and abstinence archipelago were big and uncomfortable!
It felt fine with no freezing temperatures, it felt almost like winter.
