Misterhult, November 14 to 16
After last year's success with Örö in November / December, we did it again.
I & Pia arrived Klintemåla at 13 o'clock on Friday, packed up the kayaks and gave us out on a flat calm sea, under a cloudy sky. We went east on Älö out against Strupö and slithered in the maze north of Strupö up against Örö.

We landed on Örö when it was getting dark, and made ourselves at home in the nice house. When it was dark, I went down to the dock and took a dip, that was not very warm in the water, but fresh it was, anyway.

Forward evening was the 3-course dinner with the couple Wiström, a friend of them and another Örö-bo. A very enjoyable evening where we were told a lot about the island and about the district.
After breakfast on Saturday I paddled & Pia toward Klintemåla to meet the rest of the gang, they had driven up the night before and camped in the parking lot in Klintemåla. We had thought knit from Örö at halvniotiden, but the manner of previous tours we suspected that we would get to sit in Klintemåla and wait until the others finished packing so we do not stack away until just after 9.

Despite some headwinds on the way out and about as cloudy as the day before, we had a nice turn toward Klintemåla, and we thought we met not the other until just outside Klintemåla. The whole gang (11st) paddled out to Örö where it soon became a fish soup for lunch with tilhörande cheesecake afterwards. After lunch it was free activities for a while, some fed sheep were hanging by the fire, slept, photographed, etc.. Self, I took a trip on the kayak around Örö and Nötgårdsö, fun to see the archipelago in autumn colors, many of the islands have of course paddled past the summer, but all too often in the fall / winter.
Now it was time for coffee and cake and sauna started coming up in the heat, some went to the sauna and some sat inside and had coffee and then we switched.

We (I, Peter, Lars-Åke and Peter) was finally out in the sauna and it was well heated and when the heat of the body risen enough we crawled through the hatch in the floor down in the 6-degree Baltic Sea water, very refreshing.
One of the female bass were managed to get back part of the body in close contact with the wood-burning heater, which meant sitting with an ice pack inside his pants during the subsequent dinner ![]()
After the sauna, it was time for dinner, the starters we had fish pâté, the main course was served the lamb and for dessert cheese plate. When it was time for coffee and cake, we were very full and satisfied but there is always room for a little more

About midnight began congregation thinned out and it was nice to crawl between the sheets for a while.
Before Sunday's breakfast, I took a walk around the island and some others were oxå out and strolled while sjusovarna staggered up out of bed just before breakfast at 08.30. At the breakfast table was everything and more so the people were full and satisfied.
Lars-Åke and Pia long struggled with what was written in the guestbook, but forward 11-time was all the chores finished and we left towards Klintemåla again. The sun came out and we had a very nice ride in a season for warm weather.

It was in itself insolent weather last year with gales and snow, but this year was not bad either.

A visit to Wiströms on Örö really recommended, it is a very nice place with very good food and nice people. Moreover, the Misterhult a particularly nice paddle area. We will certainly return.
