Allhelgona in Gothenburg Southern

After a visit to Appetite Tea & Coffee Shop in Mölndal for filling teförrådet (Coastal from Telagret is a favorite) so we arrived GKF and paddled out into brilliant sunshine and light northerly winds on Friday afternoon.

Went north of Rivö and Galterö and landed for the night on Tanne Cut which is a rocky island, but pretty, with nice view outwards. The sun went down as soon as we got there, got a nice sunset. Food, champagne, a little book reading and star span and then we fell asleep. The downside of living so close to Gothenburg is that it does not get really dark, it feels as if the ceiling light is lit all night ...

Finfint på Tanneskär

A fine clear morning with a couple of degrees below zero, which was'm with reading books and coffee in the tent door, but by lunchtime we managed to take us forward. Another great day and we paddled south, landing at Hultet on Valö and unloaded some stuff and had lunch and relaxed a bit, before we paddled against Tistlarna. Very seal at the inner Tistlarna and an ever more oblique light. We landed on Tistlarna just before the sun broke the horizon, took some sunset pictures and a walk to the lighthouse before we paddled back again.

Tistlarna

I thought we could aim for Valö lighthouse, but it is barely visible at all from that direction, but we found the right anyway. Pitch dark when we arrived at Valö and really really very bioluminescence last bit, cool!

Tistlarna

Pia went to fetch water and I put a fire in the fireplace. We had visitors from across the island, Mona, Peter, Mike and Anna had just come out and checked if there were more on the island. Was a little howled with champagne element in Hultet before they retreated to the east. We ate in Hultet before we went over for a little howled in the lighthouse, was a pleasant evening and the clock had to sneak past midnight before we got into the bags again.

Woke up to yet another clear morning which was a bit colder than the morning before. Quick breakfast and then a walk, no life appeared on the east side ... Back at Hultet I thought it was a bit hot and took a small dip and then it was getting time for second breakfast and våffelfrossa. Started the outdoor kitchen and took out the joining of the appliance. The first was not so good, but then got shivers up and running, super good!

Våfflor utanför Hultet på Valö

Våfflor är gott! Extragott utomhus såklart!

Forward lunch we headed us in the kayaks and paddled inward again. As we passed the lighthouse was indeed the others come up anyway ... We paddled through the Fjord islands and toward the Isthmus, and then up to GKF and traveling south again and also had time for Sunday dinner with their parents Sjöstedt.

A super weekend! How lucky with the weather! And bubbly element, we usually have, but we'll be able to get used våffelinslag oxå : D And there's waffle iron in the lighthouse, we saw so you do not have to own!

Med vinden i ryggen, tillbaka mot gkf
